We are demoing some new switches and I was excited to see that a module for the
HP 2500 series of switches is already available for PF 3.2. However after
configuring the switch I get the following error in my packetfence.log:

Mar 07 16:23:58 pf::WebAPI(5364) ERROR: Wired 802.1X is not supported on switch
type pf::SNMP::HP::Procurve_2500. Please let us know what hardware you are
using. (pf::SNMP::supportsWiredDot1x)
Mar 07 16:23:58 pf::WebAPI(5364) WARN: Sending REJECT since switch is
unspported (pf::radius::_switchUnsupportedReply)

The HP reps are quite adamant that this switch supports the full 802.1x stack
... is the module only for SNMP? IF so, I wonder if can we build a generic
module for any device that supports 802.1x?

The model is HP 2510-24.
