This was the case for MAC OSx < 10.6.5.  Beyond 10.6.5, it was working 
fine.  What is the exact version of OSX you tested with?

This only impacts 802.1X, not mac authentication.  However, it may be 
related to Caching on the client side (we don't think you can disable it 
on OSx).

Like I said, 10.6.5 and higher should be immuned to the issue.
