Hi Andi,
Is a 'service packetfence status' also returns the hash prompt immediately back?

Usually, this means a needed config file (pf.conf per example) can't be found. Are you sure this file is correctly in place ? Permissions are good and the content seems right?

Let me know!

Hi Mark,
nothing of note. I had to gunzip the packetfence.log.gz file, and the last
entries in that are from the last time I used the secondary PF server, which
was on July 11th.

It's almost as if the server has forgotten all about the packetfence service
group.

Subject: [PacketFence-users] starting packetfence services

Hi all,

I'm having trouble getting my packetfence services to start since yesterday and
I'm unsure why. The only thing I changed yesterday was to add a cron job to do
a sql dump and a copy of the conf and /etc/raddb folders over to a windows
server each night. I did the exact same thing to my primary packetfence server
and this does not show the problem.

If I run 'service packetfence start' as usual, nothing happens and I just get
the hash prompt immediately back.

Can anyone help please?

Cheers,

Andi
