Over this past weekend the radius service on my PF server went down ... I am
still looking into why... but I am wondering why PF did not automatically
restart the service? We were able to restart the service in the PF GUI without
any problem, and no changes had been made to the configs in some time.
I have the service watch directive enabled but still no joy : ( My system is
in production so I can play with it to make it happen again.
Could the recent change in PF concerning the radius daemon have borked the
service watch functionality ... at least for radiusd?
Has anyone else had this problem? How have you addressed it? IF I need to
write something I can but I would rather not re-invent the wheel.
