You can convert the VMware image to a format compatible with Proxmox. I 
do that. Search on Proxmox wiki and you'll find the answer :)
Alternatively, you can run the PF ZEN on VirtualBox and run software 
like FSarchiver for cloning the file system , than you can create a 
blank VM on proxmox and restore the filesystem you have cloned before.
So don't worry, it's possible run PF ZEN on proxmox ;)
