Dear PacketFence community,
I hate to be chasing help for every step of the way, but this is proving a real
headache.... and you might feel it is a Linux issue rather than a specific
Packetfence one.

Having at length got all repositories in order (cf.'Finding the Installer...')
I ran what seemed like a fault-free installation process for PF, which ended
with a cheerful 'Completed!' message. I ran the process as superuser.

Having done all that, not only is PF not running, but it doesn't appear to
exist at all - the documentation suggests that I should be able to find config
files etc within /usr/local/pf, but no such directory or files exist. And I've
checked to ensure that it isn't sitting there hidden. Nothing apparently
relevant, exists in /etc or /bin or /sbin.

Commands ps and top show nothing relevant running either.

I repeated the install process with exactly the same result - no errors, and
nothing created (checked by running installation output into a report file).
Which might be explicable if there was a permissions issue on the disk; but
then why would the install run without errors?

Just for fun I've tried installing other bits & things, which seem to work fine.

This on CentOS 6.3, running as a VM with lots of space...

Nick
