The usual fight :) I guess it all comes down to what your business tells you to use, and what *you* prefer. Although, personally, I would today prefer Ubuntu LTS over CentOS because of the more updated packages. If you go Ubuntu, do not use the mainstream releases, you may break your servers because of wrong packages or bugs. That would be my only advice since both are proved to be solid.
