I am setting up PF 4 on CentOS 6. I have setup the same network configuration
as my production PF 3.6.1. This system was running 3.6.1 which was removed
prior to installing 4.

I am doing inline enforcement only. I am running this on a virtual machine with
no default VLAN on the virtual NIC so eth0 has no IP address and no vlan
assigned. My management interface is eth0.8. I have 4 inline VLANs
464,465,466,467. I am seeing Eth0 show up in Interfaces in the management
interface even though it's not in pf.conf and does not have an IP address
assigned, which is different from 3.6.1.

When I start the pf service I get the following error.

"FATAL - VLAN extension point (pf::vlan::custom) is not at the correct API
level. Did you read the UPGRADE document?"

I have read the section of the UPGRADE document and it isn't clear to me what I
would need to change to make this work.

The admin interface starts, but all other services fail to start. Starting
services individually works for a few services but not all. I also have to stop
IPTables to access the admin interface after attempting a service restart.

Any thoughts what might be causing this?

Thanks,

Sherm
