This was apparently a layer 8 disconnect on my part.

For the record, I solved this by installing perl-Perl-Version from rpmforge. 
Not sure why perl-version (from OpenFusion repo, apparently) doesn't meet the 
dependency, but I've moved on to further PacketFence fun…
