Hello Mike,
the prefered method is RADIUS CoA.
With Aruba you can use Telnet or Radius method.

In the file SNMP/Aruba.pm, you have a function deauthTechniques that list the method allowed for the controller.
It´s a controller so you don´t have care of uplink, just select Dynamic.

Fabrice

Hello,

Can anyone tell me what the preferred Deauthentication Method for communication in the switch config is for an Aruba 3600 wireless controller? Also, what about the Dynamic lookup uplinks ?

Thank you for the help in advance.

This is our first crack at using Packet Fence.

Thank you.

Mike Hanson
