Hi again, on to a different issue:
PF is not seeing snort as running (webUI and pfcmd), but the pid file is there
and ps sees it there, with PF parameters.
Known issue, or more likely some oddity on my system?

I also get this error: Use of uninitialized value in split at
/usr/local/pf/lib/pf/services/snort.pm line 57.
Although the split seems pretty clear, and the violations.conf snort_rules line
is at default.
I'm sorry that I seem to be coming up with needly little problems. Almost feels
like a slightly out-of-kilter system (my test box, not PF).
