Hello,
I am working as System Administrator in one of the University, where we had
Packetfence Setup from last one year i.e PF 3.6,
recently we have upgraded the PF 3.6 to PF 4.0. 1, it's installed on
Debian Wheezy.
We are using the following setup for PF 4.0.1
Management Interface : eth4
Enforcement Method : Inline ( eth5 ) ip : 10.1.0.100
Inline SNAT = eth4
Authentication Method = LDAP
networks.conf
------------------------
[10.1.0.0]
dns=8.8.8.8
dhcp_start=10.1.0.101
gateway=10.1.0.100
domain-name=inline.tiss.edu
named=enabled
dhcp_max_lease_time=86400
dhcpd=enabled
type=inline
netmask=255.255.192.0
dhcp_end=10.1.50.255
dhcp_default_lease_time=86400
The above setup works perfectly with Ubuntu, Mac OSX, Windows XP. But it
doesn't work with WINDOWS 8 mobile and Laptop Devices.
PF 4.0.1 fingerprints also updated.
Is there any other mechanism, any rules needs to specify ??
