Hello Ulrich,
i think you misunderstood, isolation vlan is to isolate , so i suppose that you want to put the new devices in registration vlan.
With a 3560 switch you have 3 possibilities:
MAB (802.1x and mac authentication)
Mac authentication only
Port security

For the 2 first one you use radius (put a secret password in your switch configuration) and for the last one you have to use snmptrapd (set the correct snmp information in your switch configuration).

When a device will try to connect in your switch, then from radius or snmp, packetfence will put it in the registration vlan.

Regards
Fabrice

Hello,

I want to have help about PacketFence.

I’m a new one and I want to know how I can configure my switch (cisco 3560) to detect the new Mac address and put it in a vlan isolation.

Best regard
