Which version of PF do you use.
 
I am still on 3.5.1 as 4.x does not reliably do auto vlan changes for me yet.

I use HP::Controller_MSM710 and just have my inline VLANs under the custom 
VLANs in the switch config. Also, in the Trigger to enable inline mode is set 
to ALWAYS::.

We are using a handful of Hp ProCurve 420s. They work nicely with online mode.
