Packetfence is a robust product with hundreds of different ways it can be deployed. I would like to help, but I will need a bit more info.
If you're asking does PF support Dell 3424s, yes they are listed on the PF list of supported switches. But if you are asking for configuration assistance we will need to know more about how you are trying to deploy PF before anyone can help too much.
