Hi,

We are trying to set up PacketFence to serve our resident, dot1x + MAB in documentation is very attractive, it will work if a client has dot1x compatible end device. But what if the client has an older device that does not support dot1x? I am thinking giving the client web browser based captive portal login page to allow client login, then I will use URL redirect client to gaming registration page to register the MAC address and other device that does not support either dot1x or web browser such as printer or game console so that those devices can pass MAB when plugging in. So I tried hybrid mode, then I realize that inline mode needed to be triggered from vlan enforce mode, and I don't see a trigger option as 'when dot1.x or MAB fail', only options are 'always, port, mac, ssid'.

Did anyone try similar setup?

Thank you very much.
