Hello Olivier,

I think I owe you a very belated Thank you regarding custom VLAN expansion, we
last talked about this in May of last year. You mentioned then the desire to
expand the number of custom VLANs beyond 5 but couldn't say when due to the web
install and new admin projects. Unfortunately short thereafter, I had to lay
my PF lab work aside for more pressing matters. Some months ago I was able to
steal enough time to upgrade my test machine to 3.6 but other than installing
didn't do a lot with it.

Not long ago we started a PF pilot test with some of our IT support staff. And
I've been getting familiar with 4.0.x for a few weeks now. We're inching ever
so closer to production! FYI, if the N. American demand for IPv6 takes off and
PF is right there with it, I guarantee you our production implementation will
follow lockstep!

This week I was asked about customVLAN expansion. To my astonishment I found
your May 16, 2012 ChangeLogs for it. Wow! It was implemented just 6 days
after we last exchanged digest emails! I am so sorry I didn't realize this.
And I've played with PF 3.6 Configuration/node categories, creating 7 new ones
in a snap.

So fast forward to PF 4.0.3. (The installation is so easy! The admin looks
great too.) I've looked high and low for the new 'Configuration/node
categories' but don't see it? I'm known to be near-sighted from time to time
;-}, is this the case now? Is it right there under my nose?

Thank you.
