Don,
There seems to be some serious breakage in 4.0.4 regarding authentication
sources. I've reverted to 4.0.2, but I'm still in test phase. A patch is
promised, but I haven't seen it yet. If you're not running PF in debug logging
mode, might give more hints. Obviously I can't know if your problem is related,
but sounds like it's in the same general vicinity.

Subject: [PacketFence-users] 4.0.4: Radius acting strangely
Ok, I don’t think this is related to my previous issue, but the RADIUS
authentication has changed it’s behavior in 4.0.4 as well. Previously, if I
did a radtest using a user listed in ./raddb/users it would succeed, but now it
fails (“Access-Reject”), even though I show a “Login OK” in the radiuslog. If
I restore back to my slightly modified (to fix the mime-type problem)
./raddb/packetfence.pm, all is good again. I’ve stared at the diff, and walked
line-by-line through the code and cannot see where the problem is, but I assume
there some underlying assumption I’m missing there.
Again, any assistance would be appreciated.
