Hi all -
This scenario has not happened yet, but I've been thinking about it for the
last month.
We have PF setting the unregdate out 120 days exactly from the regdate.
So, if someone registered mid-day, their unregdate will be mid-day 120
days from now.
I'm worried that people may be in the middle of something important (an
online quiz/test for class, a phone call via a softphone, an important
Skype interview, database transaction via the ERP) and all of a sudden they
hit their unregdate, get unregistered and lose connection. This could be
very bad, especially with tests and database work.
Is anyone doing anything in response to this? Or is it not something
people are worrying about?
The one thing we thought of while thinking out loud is sending a person an
e-mail 7 days prior to their unregdate, and giving them a way to extend
their regdate another 120 days (maybe via a link or something...). It's
not fully thought out yet...so don't make fun of it!! :)
