Hi, Disclaimer: I'm helping someone complete a PF install, so I'm unaware of which steps were already done or not.
We can connect to the configurator of the PF install (version 4.0.6 I believe). On the 'Database' tab of the configurator, after I type in the password and click 'Test,' it passes. However, the 'Create database and tables' button and its associated field entries are greyed out, but there is a green "Success!" right next to the button. (Does this mean the user already ran this step successfully?) Additionally, in the section below the 'Create user' and it's entry boxes are also greyed out, with the green "Success!" next to it. I have four interfaces: -eth0 is up and set to management (we're connecting over this interface to the configurator) -eth1 & 2 are up and set to inline (eth1 isn't receiving any packets right now for whatever reason [router or gateway misconfig?] but this shouldn't matter at this point, right?) -eth4 is disabled When I get to the last step and type in the password twice, when I click on "modify password" or "continue" an error message pops up saying I need to "verify my configuration". Here is what packetfence.log shows: httpd.admin WARN: Table 'pf.temporary_password' doesn't exist (pfappserver::Model::Config::System::check_mysqld_status) httpd.admin ERROR: DBD::mysqld::db do failed: Table 'pf.temporary_password' doesn't exist at /usr/local/pf/html/pfappserver/lib/pfappserver/Model/DB.pm line 226. Was the database and tables created, and if so, correctly? What should I do to fix it? OR What files database(s) should I delete to start as if the packetfence configurator were run for the first time?
