Figured out the second issue as well. Basically you do not want to modify the default profile at all since its settings effect the other profiles you create. I just created a new profile for all my other devices and a guest profile. After doing this the e-mail activation links started working.

My issue with the second portal page is that I failed to specify any sources. Once I added SMS and e-mail it started directing me the guest page. The default portal no longer has the "Sign up" link either after specifying the source as local. However now when I try to sign up as a guest it works fine for SMS but when I do e-mail I have an issue. I receive the e-mail but when I click the register link it just redirects me the website specified in the default profile. Then after 10 minutes I get booted off the network. How do I get to the activation successful page after clicking the email link? Thanks. From: Jeremy Plumley [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, February 27, 2014 5:07 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [PacketFence-users] Self Registration with second portal Hello, We just update our Packetfence box to version 4.1.0. We were having problems getting self-registration to work on 4.0.1. Self-registration appears to be working on the default portal. What we are trying to do is create a second portal page that will be for our guest wireless users to use self-registration. Then disable self-registration on the default portal. So far when I try to disable the default portal we still have the "Sign Up" link at the bottom. Also the second portal does not show the "sign up" link. Below is our configuration from profiles.conf. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
