Hello,

We are currently testing Packetfence with a Samba3/ldap setup.
802.1x radius ldap auth is working (wired and wireless), but on the
first connection (with an unregistered device), the interface is put on
registration vlan, and user has to authentify again on the captive
portal. Then the device is registered, and Vlan is switched to the
default one.

Is there a way to register automatically devices on 802.1x
authentification, avoiding users to be required to enter their ids twice
during the first connexion, which can be quite confusing, specially for
mobiles devices ?

Or maybe I missed something ?

Thanks
