PacketFence Server :
eth0 ===> 172.16.205.90/24
eth0.2 ===> 192.168.2.1/24
eth0.3 ===> 192.168.3.1/24
Switch (Cisco 2960):
Interface Vlan 1===> 172.16.205.91/24
Interface Vlan 2 ===>192.168.2.2/24
**Interface Vlan 3===> 192.168.3.2/24
All Vlan interface can communicate with the server same interface. The
server can't communicate with the vlan 2 and 3.
When I configure a port and put it in the vlan 2 or 3 I don't receive
any DHCP configuration.
That's my switch conf :
interface FastEthernet0/1
switchport mode trunk
!
interface Vlan1
ip address 172.16.205.91 255.255.255.0
no ip route-cache
!
interface Vlan2
ip address 192.168.2.2 255.255.255.0
no ip route-cache
!
interface Vlan3
ip address 192.168.3.2 255.255.255.0
no ip route-cache
My network configuration on the server :
auto eth3
iface eth3 inet static
address 172.16.205.90
netmask 255.255.255.0
gateway 172.16.205.254
auto eth3.2
iface eth3.2 inet static
address 192.168.2.1
netmask 255.255.255.0
vlan_raw_device eth3
auto eth3.3
iface eth3.3 inet static
address 192.168.3.1
netmask 255.255.255.0
vlan_raw_device eth3

Can you specify the IPs/subnets used?
Maybe all the IPs are on the same subnet and the routing on PF server
goes through the wrong interface?

Hi,
I have some issues with the application and I would like to have
your opinion and whether you have already encountered this problem .
I ride a test infrastructure .
Here is my architecture :
A server running Ubuntu with a physical interface eth0 and two
virtual sub-interfaces eth0.2, eth0.3 .
What is happening ?
PF Serveur can ping the IP ( interface Vlan 1) switch that are in
the same LAN.
The switch has two VLANs (Registration and Isolation ) each have
an IP interface. Each VLAN interface can ping the virtual
sub-interface on the PF server IP address. But the PF server is
unable to ping the VLAN interfaces on the switch and I get this
error message ( destination unreachable ) .
The switch has been configured PF trunk has been established on
the port.
The switch used is a cisco 2960 .
Have you any idea or ca can come ?
PS: If you do not understand some points my explanation do not
hesitate to ask me again .
