Hello PacketFence users; I am getting very close to get PacketFence to work.
My Cisco 3560 switch's ports are configured for 802.1X and MAB (Multi-host) and port-security following the administration and network devices manuals on packet fence website. Right now, when I plug in a new device to one of the configured/managed ports of my Cisco Switch, it generates a "RADIUS Access Request" packet and sends it to the port 1812 (radiusd is listening) of my PacketFence server. Then PF server sends an SNMP Get-Request Switch sends report PF server sends another SNMP Get-Request Switch sends another report PF server sends a Get-Request (sysLocation) Switch sends a Get-Response (sysLocation = Missing) PF server sends a Bulk-Request (ifDescr) Switch sends a Get-Response (ifDescr for VLANs and Interfaces on the switch) PF Server sends RADIUS Access-Reject And all the communication stops and client does not get an IP address.... I was expecting from PacketFence to tell the switch to assign an IP address to the UN-Authenticated client from Registration VLAN DHCP pool, in order to let the client to access the Captive-Portal for registration. What am I doing wrong ?
