Hi all,
For some reason my captive portal doesn't show users any websites, including
the Packetfence captive portal. In IE I get the 'Page Cannot be displayed'
error, and Chrome I get the linkhelp.clients.google.com error message where it
reports "Something is currently interfering with your secure connection".

If I ping www.google.com<http://www.google.com> from the client device when
it's in the registration network I get replies from the PF Registration
interface, which I'm expecting. DNS queries show something strange:
nslookup www.google.com<http://www.google.com>
Server: Unknown
Address: 192.168.208.4 <-----pf reg interface

Name:
www.google.com.vlan-registration.internal.ac.uk<http://www.google.com.vlan-registration.internal.ac.uk>
Address: 11.0.80.45

Now that isn't a Google IP address.

If I do a lookup on one of the websites I have setup as a proxy bypass I get
another strange looking address, 0.0.94.0. Browsing to a website in the
passthrough list works ok, so it does appear that PacketFence is actually
processing the requests.

I'm running version 4.2.2.

Doing a service packetfence restart from the command prompt shows the following
warning, I'm not sure if it's related:
WARNING - invalid parameter nbregpages for profile default

Packetfence.log doesn't show anything of interest, and I can't see anything
obviously wrong in the portal_access or error logs. Happy to post them up if
anyone's interested in taking a look.

Cheers,
Andi
