Hey Andrew,

i suppose you want to use packetfence with wireless access point.
To be able to have accounting then you will use mac-auth, it mean that in your access point you will have to configure a radius server for authentication and you will probably be able to configure a radius server for accounting. So if it´s possible then configure packetfence as the radius server (port 1812 for auth and 1813 for accounting).

If no then it will be inline mode and you will have to use pfbandwidth.

Regards
Fabrice

Hey Fabrice,

Thanks for the quick reply, I wasn't planing on taken any credit cards from users, just a one of usage with a limit. And for the accounting is it that only some NAS or all NAS support this, I'm not entirely clear on how this set up works.
