Hi Thomas,
check that file lib/pf/lookup/person.pm, it will populate the user
information in the local database.
It will be automatic in the next release.

I am new, so please forgive.
At the beginning of the Summer break, I began to setup a packetfence
server for my housing area. Due to circumstances, it is setup
completely as an inline system. I had troubles getting the system to
work properly and took some time off to get some other things off my
plate. Earlier this week I joined this list-serv and my problem was
resolved---THANKS!!
At the same time I was talking to Inverse and was told 4.3 was coming
out on 6-26 so I built a new box with what I had learned and in most
part it is working as expected. Now I want to get some other features
working and all I am getting is errors or nothing.
First, I wanted to gather Name and Email, so I setup a new profile on
the selected VLAN (and the default) with mandatory fields. Nothing
shows up. The only thing I can think of is that it due to my source
being Active Directory. Yes, that should be in active directory, but
throughout the year, Housing will have guests and camps, so collecting
a name would be nice.
Second, being that I work on a college campus, gaming systems are a
new must so I tried to get that up and running, following the
directions in that manual does nothing and if I manually add the lines
to pf.conf, I get an error that the config options do not exist.
Thanks and any help would be appreciated.
