Hello Denis,

Yes you are true, btw the role must be defined but it doesn´t assign the role.

After that you can create a portal profile based on the ssid filter (ssid-secure) with a source that match the username, so packetfence will compute the role and the unregdate based of the rules you defined in the authentication source, or you can create the same vlan filter rule but with the scope NormalVlan.

Fabrice

Hello,

When reading  /local/pf/conf/vlan_filters.conf.example , I saw the
AutoRegistration scope.

Does it means that autoregistration can now be set up via vlan filters
rules, instead of modifying custom.pm file ?

for example, for autoregistering any EAP client on ssid-secure ssid :

[secure]
filter = ssid
operator = is
value = ssid-secure

[eap]
filter = connection_type
operator = is
value = Wireless-802.11-EAP

[1:secure&eap]
scope = AutoRegistration
role = default

Is it right ?

Thanks,

Denis
