Hello,
I have been experimenting on using the registration mode on the switch config
in PF. I have a small location I want to enable this on so it will auto
register the mac address it sees on the switch then I will flip it to
production when it gets all the macs. So far it appears auto registration is
working since the two test ports I put my commands on the mac address auto
registered but it has no role assigned to it. How does one go about getting it
to auto assign the role based on what access vlan it sees on the switchport?
For example the ports have switchport access vlan 50 and I want all vlan 50
devices to have role "Employee." Below is the switchport configuration and
version of packetfence I am running. Thanks for any help received.
