We've seen similar things with Apple devices. We are running "Out-of-band" and
have things setup so that PF can hear DHCP broadcast traffic. While PF hears
that the client is asking for a rather long lease and dutifully records that
information it is not privy to the much shorter lease that is actually granted.
At least that's what seems to be going on. It seems to me that Apple just
does some things rather differently than most folks.

Subject: [PacketFence-users] IP Address has end date of 31st Dec 2014

Hi,
I don't think this is an issue as such, but I'm getting asked by support staff
here why some devices have an end date of 31st December 2014 when they look in
the IP Address tab of the node properties. It doesn't happen to every device,
but just some, and I'd like to be able to explain this to them if possible.

I've attached a screenshot as an example.

Cheers,
Andi
