my question is where do you find the command:
yum groupinstall --enablerepo=PacketFence,epel,rpmforge,of
Packetfence-complete
In the install guide it´s: yum groupinstall --enablerepo=packetfence
Packetfence-complete or yum install --enablerepo=packetfence packetfence .
So what you did is probably to install a wrong version of libapreq2
(because you enabled epel,rpmforge,of repo) and it failed to start
packetfence.
So remove packetfence and the dependency or restart from the beginning
and follow the install guide

install only the core PacketFence without all the external services.
I will have to jump around the guide to find how to install.
PacketFence uses/requires:
- Web server (httpd)
- DHCP server (dhcpd)
- DNS server (named)
- FreeRADIUS server (radiusd)
- Snort/Suricata Network IDS (snort/suricata)
How to solve the error I mentioned in the previous post?
