Backup everything.
Make sure the backup worked.
Read the UPGRADE notes:

Use your distro's package manager to update, as in 'yum upgrade packetfence' or
'apt-get update packetfence'
Apply the changes mentioned in the UPGRADE doc
Merge any custom code you may have if required.
