I ran both, and then re-tried the yum update. It indicated
that 4.5.1 was installed, and didn't do anything. I did a
service packetfence stop and start (which I assume runs the
same config file sanity checks), and it did not report an
error. Guess we can file it under fluke unless someone else
has the same problem...

Ok so it´s probably a cache issue, run these commands:

bin/pfcmd cache configfiles clear
bin/pfcmd cache configfilesdata clear

and retry

Yes it is, as a matter of fact is is the very last line in the file:

#

# maintenance.provisioning_compliance_poll_interval

#

# Interval at which Packetfence runs the polling enforcement on the provisioners

provisioning_compliance_poll_interval=300s

FWIW, we're not using any of the provisioning functions, and the only
changes that I have made since installation have been through the GUI...

Updated:
  packetfence.noarch 0:4.5.1-1.el6

Complete!

Is this worth reporting as a bug, or an expected error that can be safely
ignored? It seems to be running after the update...
