I used to struggle with that – then Fabrice informed me that I was referencing
the port numbers wrong.
You have to use the ifindex instead of the port numbers. On Cisco IOS use
command: Show snmp mib ifmib ifindex, to display ifindex of all ports.
Once I used the ifindex then PacketFence displays in the logs “We don’t manage
Uplinks”

I am struggling to get PF to leave the uplink ports on my switches alone. Has
anyone done that? Do you have a switches.conf file with the list of "uplinks"?
May I see it?
