Hello all,
I have a PF server that does VLAN-based management over a Cisco switch. So
I moved a node to a production VLAN from the default (registration) VLAN
and then pulled the plug on the switch, then powered it up again to test
what would happen. Naturally, the switch never saved the running config;
but even after I powered it up and waited for a bit, the port where the
node is reverted to the default VLAN and it looks like PF neither is aware
of it, nor has done anything to put the node in the production VLAN.
I wonder if there is something I am doing wrong and there is a way to
rectify the situation such that whenever the switch comes up PF goes and
makes sure all the ports are in the appropriate VLAN.
Thanks.
Cheers,
Boris.
