Tim you are correct Allowed Roles can be used to restricts the roles for
a set of admin users.
The way to set it up is the following.
Go to Configuration> Allowed Roles
* Use either the built in "User Manager" role or create a new one.
* Select the Actions for the "Admin Role" at minimum select the following
*** Users - Create
*** Users - Read
*** Users - Delete
*** Users - Update
*** Users - Set Role
*** Users - Set Access Duration
*** Users - Set Unreg Date
* Select the "Allowed Roles" for the "Admin Role" you want to allow to
be set.
Now which ever user is set with this access level for the web admin.
They will only be able to see the roles you provided for the "User
Manager" admin role for instance.
Trouble shooting
* Any admin user that has the ALL admin role can do everything.
* If the admin user is coming from a source (AD,LDAP,Htpasswd make sure
you have a rule to apply the action "Set access level of Web admin"
(which should be renamed)
* If it is packetfence local user then make sure that action is set by
going to the "Actions" tab for that user.
Let me know if this helps.

Is this feature not functional yet? Doesn't seem to work.. Im
assuming it will restrict the admin from editing anything that isn't
that role, or disallowing creation if its not being registered to that
role?
