Upon further inspection, it looks like pfsetvlan is not able to get the MAC of
the ifIndex. In the packetfence log, I see:
WARN: couldn't get MAC at ifIndex 465.
This is a problem. (pf::Switch::_getMacAtIfIndex)
However, when I do:
pfcmd_vlan -switch <ip> -fIndex 465
I get the correct MAC address. Any ideas?

Subject: [EO][PacketFence-users] Registration mode on Nortel ERS 5500
Hello, I have been testing PacketFence and ran across an issue with a Nortel
ERS 5500 (FW 6.x) stack that we have. I have it configured as a routed network
in registration mode, but while it is getting the hostname, MAC, IP, and DHCP
fingerprint, it is not automatically registering the host. There is also no
location history for this device, and when I click the re-evaluate access
button, I get:
Error! The access couldn't be reevaluated.
The SNMP settings have all been configured as well as the other MAC security
settings from the device administration guide, although I am not sure this is
necessary for non-production modes.
Can anyone provide some insight into why hosts are not being automatically
registered?
Thanks
Christian
