Hello Charles,

what you want to achieve is chained authentication.

If you have a look in Configuration -> Sources -> Add a source ->
internal -> Chained, you will be able to combine 2 sources.

Let's say you want a email registration and a conference code, so create
a local user for the conference (Person -> Add -> User1/password with
registration window, role and access duration) and create a chained
authentication source (conference) with Authentication source: Local and
Chained authentication source to email.

Next create a portal profile with a filter SSID:conferencessid and
assign the source conference to this portal.

That's all.

Regards
Fabrice
