Hello Amidou,
there is no issue to use the vlan 1, packetfence return a vlan based on
the status/role of the device, so if the device must be in the vlan 1 it
will be in the vlan 1.
Also i think that you can change the native vlan on the trunk port where
pf is connect (like when you set switcport access vlan x on a switch port).
Something like that:
switch mode trunk native vlan 10
and remove the interface eth0.10 and use eth0 instead (it will be in the
vlan 10).
