Hi Peter,
First, disable "Use stripped username" in the authentication source(s).
Then apply this patch :
https://patch-diff.githubusercontent.com/raw/inverse-inc/packetfence/pull/1162.patch
Here is how to apply it :
cd /usr/local/pf/ && curl
https://patch-diff.githubusercontent.com/raw/inverse-inc/packetfence/pull/1162.patch
| patch -p1
Restart PacketFence
The patch above will be part of 5.6+ so the behavior will stay OK when
you upgrade next time.
