PacketFence is a NAC.
It enforces registration of network connected devices before letting them on
the network.
By default unregistered devices are either sent to a registration VLAN or
isolated through a captive portal.
I think you need to tell us a bit more about your network, your PacketFence
installation (inline or out of band?), what Symantec product specifically you
are referring to and what you aim to achieve exactly.
