can we have the log from packetfence.log ?
Also did you create a portal profile with the ssid 802.1x as filter and
added an authentication source ?

I have configured two portal profiles: Public-wifi and wifi 802.1x.
The public-wifi just works perfectly, when user access public-wifi, it
get captive portal page and upon logged-in, pf pushed it to correct
Internet vlan.
But 802.1x wireless doesn't working. When user authenticated

i had vlan filter defined as below:
[ssidsecure]
filter = ssid
operator = is
value = 802.1x
[reg:ssidsecure]
scope = AutoRegister
role = default
I have to go to Nodes page, and manually apply default role to the
registered device, then pf starts to push correct vlan to the device.
Please help, thank you.
PS: I'm using Cisco Aironet 1242G access points without wireless
controller in my lab.
