Frederic,

Thanks for the tip; We were on that track to try and get another device
supported by Barrier Breaker (MyNET N600) up and running, but unfortunately
OpenWRT no longer publishes any 14.07 images (or at least the web server
links do not work) so our only real option is 15.05, and the newer devices
we are using are only supported by 15.05 (Archer C7).

https://downloads.openwrt.org/

We will test out the packetfence upstream hostapd for 14.07 and/or see if
we can merge a few bits to get the part with no encryption protocols
working.

We also assume hostapd controls the active settings posted to
*/var/run/hostapd-phy0.conf?
 *

We also noticed that the option auth_server, option auth_port
and auth_secret were not appearing in the unencrypted SSID there as well,
so we are hoping both resolve at the same time.

Thanks,
Ian
