Is it possible to accept the sAMAccountName only for the username? As we have
only one domain I am looking to "hardwire" this in for any AD lookups. Teaching
students about domain requirements is a losing battle.
With the current setup the credentials are required to join the WLAN then
reused. This should not matter though. I am sure I did this previously but
going over my notes and using various search terms in this forum (which I am
also sure has the answer as I believe I read it here previously), I cannot find
it.
A second part to this is for my understanding, if I reuse the 802.1x
credentials it asks for them again within the portal, so the user enters them
twice. If I unselect the box, the Acceptable Use Page is bypassed. I am trying
to get the 802.1x creds reused, the Acceptable Use Page showing then straight
into the network join page. Is this possible?
