i have may packetfence 6.1.1 configured to authenticate BYOD users using
authentication source: microsoft IAS radius that is connected to my LAN
Active directory . the authentication process works fine. but i have a
problem that if i have a user called e.g mark , packetfence treats the
user "mark" as different user than "Mark" and than "MARK "and than
"Domain\mark", although they are all points to the exact same user from AD
/IAS prospective. it seams that packetfence treats each user format as new
user.
in other words if i put a max limit for nodes registration per user lets
us say two nodes, the user mark can register two nods using "MARK" can add
additional two more using "Mark"and also another two using "domain\mark" .
please help me resolve this issue as some users started to cheat on me
using different forms of authentication.
