Hello,
You’ll need to add your SSH-Port as an exception in the iptables rules of
packetfence.
By default packetfence blocks all incoming ports that aren’t needed for
registration/authentication.
I currently can’t test it, but the rule should look somewhat like this:
-A INPUT --protocol tcp --dport <ssh-port> --jump ACCEPT
