yes you can deploy it in a data center but you will have to be sure that
the registration interface can be reach from your access/dist/core
switch. (layer 3 reg network).
The goal of the out of band setup is to place the unreg device in the
registration vlan and the only thing that the device can see is PacketFence.
In this vlan PacketFence is the dhcp server, gateway, dns, and default
website. So each dns request will be answered by the ip address of the
captive portal.

Second, we use juniper switch as access/dist/core switch here, when i
look at the network config example device i cant find command in the
configuration that redirect client to register portal, all i can find
is a radius server(packetfence).
