I've been asked to gather some stats on takeup of our trial PacketFence service. I've gathered data from the radacct table and from our DHCP logs and I am getting inconsistent results. I assumed that when a registered device connects it is authenticated by radius and this will be logged in the radacct table, but there are many devices missing that show up in the DHCP logs.
I need to know which logs/mysql tables I should be looking at to correctly workout how many unique devices have connected to the service each day.
