Hello Virginie,
applying the maintenance mean applying patches to fix bugs and there is
one related to passthrough
(https://github.com/inverse-inc/packetfence/commit/0ce919906dad6518215a9ad12bd0b5e84ef54f82).
So go ahead with pf-maint.pl and restart packetfence
