Hi there,

*Very short intro about myself*

My name is Christopher. I study computer science and I am a system
administrator.

*My situation*

We are planning to offer customer WiFi in our stores. For that we are
planning to use the following components in each (geographically
independent) location:

1. Internet connection: Dedicated internet connection just for the
customer WiFi.

2. Modem/router: AVM FritzBox 7490 as a combined modem/router. For those
of you not familiar with the FritzBox series: It is a home/SMB router which
is only available in German speaking countries.

3. APs: APs from Mojo networks We see the main advantage in the neat
Cloud Manager which Mojo offers. This enables us to easily manage all APs at
once.

*Can we use PacketFence?*

We want our customers to register if they want to use the WiFi. But we only
want them to register once: If they registered in store A and then go to
store B, they should have WiFi in store B without registering again. We are
wondering if we can use PacketFence for this? We were thinking something
along the lines of:

- In the Mojo cloud manager one can specify an external captive portal
as well as an external Radius server.

- We want to host PacketFence on a machine somewhere in the cloud,
e.g. AWS. So that we have a public IP address for that machine.

- This PacketFence machine would then provide the registration and AAA
functionalities.

On this we would very much appreciate your input. Is it possible to do this
with PacketFence? Could you give us a hint on how to start?

Best regards

Christopher
